"A" For Anti-Constitutional

America has been occupied by an Anti-Constitutionalist regime, which can claim no "victory," anywhere, that is in the interest of the American people. Neither is anything that the Bush regime has done, in the interest of humanity; nor is anything that the Bush regime has done in the interest of anyone other than the conservative, corporate military-industrial elite. Neither at home, nor abroad has any condition of life improved under "The Great Bushitter," and many, many situations are getting much, much worse at an accelerating rate.

So why should anyone expect that Europeans or anyone else, would follow U.S policy in anything? Even Canada is rejecting attempts by America to impose our government's will, on their drug laws, for example. In fact, the question is:

"Why are Americans continuing to allow George Bush, a proven liar, and an international criminal, to remain in power, rather than initiating impeachment proceedings?"

The unfortunate and obvious answer is "fear." Americans are afraid of their own government, which has been taken over by anti-Constitutional, multi-national corporate industrialists, controlling America's military, U.S. courts, and the police. There are no real checks and balances left in American government. The "Rule of Law" has been openly violated by the Bush regime (think 'Guantanamo Bay'), and the terrorist attacks -- while also unjustifiable and immoral -- are the predictable, in-kind response of a world which is under attack by self-interested corporate factions based in the United States.

The "Economics of Punishment" have become impacted as the result of American denial of responsibility for the truth. Consider the recent statement by the Union of Concerned Scientists regarding the Bush regime's disregard and manipulation of science.

Consider the anti-Natural prohibition against the most useful plant on Earth, Cannabis (hemp, 'marijuana'). Consider the failed global drug war typified by "Plan Colombia" which American taxpayers have just approved another $780 million for. Americans are spraying biological weapons of mass destruction, in the form of glyphosate (linked to the spread of Fusarium oxysporum) into the eyes of children in South America.

In the year 2002, 10% of the population of Colombia was displaced because of the spraying, and America's "Drug Czar" John Walters bragged about it (Martin Jelsma, Transnational Institute, Netherlands)! Do Americans think the rest of the world is just going to sit by and allow these sorts of atrocities to go by without some violent reaction? What would YOU do if somebody sprayed poison into the eyes of your children?

Are people in the U.S. so numbed by fear, comfort, gluttony and media distraction (and by fluoride in the water) that they don't sense the disgust, anger, and outrage of the rest of the world? This includes the violent repercussions of the Natural Order of the planet itself, as the atmosphere warms, weather patterns change, species become extinct at alarming rates, and Nobel Prize-winning scientists predict the likelihood of extinction for our species in the next twenty years (Dr. Helen Caldicott).

In the U.S., our own civil liberties are being eroded by a predatory regime, in spite of the fact that such policies are counter-productive. This is most obviously exemplified by the prolonged prohibition of drugs, which has been proven to create a black market and obviate the possibility of controlling drugs through proper government regulation (See "The Economics of Prohibition," by Dr. Mark Thornton, University of Utah Press).

What the hell has to happen before the American people wake up to the fact that we are being used by an elitist faction of our species that has gained economic control by the sheer force that accompanies a lack of morality? To bring it down to a hypothetical, individual level, for purposes of understanding what's happening on an international scale, what would happen if you took a gun and went over to your neighbor's house and shot him in order to get his property, his family, and his money?

Well, friends&neighbors, that's what the government of the United States is doing, and the rest of the "neighborhood" is pissed off as hell, and they're not going to take it anymore. The sooner America levels charges of criminal abuse of power against the Bush regime, the sooner Americans will recover the respect and credibility that so many before us have died for.

America's forefathers fought to defend the principles of freedom, justice and honor that the military-industrial regime (based in the White House) has successfully stolen, and continues to steal, from our nation and the rest of the world.
Wake up America, and take back your country, now. In the words of Gordon Lightfoot, it's "too late for prayin'..." What's needed is decisive, unanimous consensus: Bush is a dangerous liar, and must be held accountable for betrayal of America's Armed Forces, and multiple crimes against humanity (beginning with the use of depleted uranium bombs).

Demonstrations all over the world that will mark the one-year anniversary of the invasion of Iraq will show that the United States is wrong, and has always been wrong in following the Bush doctrine of war and armed aggression. Whether attacking Iraq or attacking the Cannabis plant, or attacking Mother Nature herself, the Bush regime is an illegal entity that must be non-violently disarmed, or further armed aggression will be escalated by those factions of society who are being attacked, in the name of, and at the expense of, the American tax-payer.

The following essay is a commentary on
"Right Hook"
Spain's post-3/11 upheaval: David Frum says the terrorists have won, Andrew Sullivan fears a pre-November "bloodbath" inside the U.S., and David Brooks blames Colin Powell.

"Adding insult to murder"
Right-wing pundits are spinning “a tactical victory” for terrorism in Spain
by Paul von Hartmann

Allow me to apologize to the people of Spain, for the arrogance, stupidity and inconsideration of some very selfish people in America. With crass insensitivity, a chorus of right-wing political cheerleaders is manufacturing “a tactical victory” for Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida, using the tragedy in Madrid, just as the Bush campaign is brandishing the horrors of 9/11, for maximum political effect.

By retroflecting with self-serving certainty about what would have happened in Spain’s elections, had the terrorist bombs not ripped through trains in Madrid, right-wing ‘spin-stirrers’ in America are amplifying a self-fulfilling prophecy of death and assuring the political future of terrorism. Warping an election history that never happened to suit their political agenda, neo-conservatives are achieving far more for the terrorists than a hundred explosions ever could, while setting the stage for more of the same.

I could not be more disgusted, bearing witness to repugnant human vultures who feed on death to advance their perspectives. Apparently drunk on political advantages to be reaped from the brutal murder of Spanish citizens, second-guessing fools have the blood of people not yet murdered dripping from their mouths:

"Terrorists have succeeded in toppling the Spanish government," declared blogger Glenn Reynolds on InstaPundit.

"Terrorism has won a mighty victory in Spain…The culprits who detonated those bombs of murder on 3/11 intended to use murder to alter the course of Spanish democracy -- and they have succeeded." -- National Review contributor and former Bush speechwriter David Frum

"The war on terror suffered a setback [Sunday] when Spain elected a Socialist government, apparently in response to last week's terror attacks in Madrid…It's too early to tell if al-Qaida's tactical victory in Spain will turn out to be a strategic one as well ... Spain's vote for appeasement may turn out to be a lagging indicator; perhaps 3/11 will turn out to cause Europeans to wise up, even if Spanish voters were not quick enough to do so ...” – “The Terrorists Win One” by
James Taranto, editor of Opinion Journal, Wall Street Journal Editorial Page

“In light of "bin Laden's victory in Spain;" Sullivan says that the vast majority of voters there have twisted themselves backward around their own antiwar logic -- a transgression that could cost Europe and the U.S. some serious bloodshed in the coming months.” “pro-war blogger,” Andrew Sullivan, The Daily Dish.

The smug certainty of political opinionists in the United States, falling over each other to declare ‘what would have happened,’ completely and insultingly ignores the expressed will and courage of the Spanish people. The “vast majority” had already made their opposition to Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar’s support of Bush overwhelmingly clear, before the attacks:

“A vast majority of Spaniards resented Aznar for backing Bush's invasion of Iraq and feared that it made their own country more vulnerable to terror attacks.” – from “Right Hook” by Mark Follman

“Keep in mind that the vast majority of Spaniards opposed the war, and were not so happy with the Spanish government backing Bush.” -- Charles Kupchan, formerly President Clinton's director for European affairs on the National Security Council

Since second-guessing a history that never happened seems to be fashionable, let me tell you what I am “sure” would have happened in the Spanish elections, had the bombs not ripped through the train in Madrid. What probably would have happened without bombs being exploded, is in fact what did happen, and is the triumph of peace in the election of Socialist Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. Jose Maria Aznar would have lost by a slightly smaller margin, as fewer people would have voted. That’s all.

How thoughtlessly and heartlessly people in the U.S. discount the political impact from deaths of Spanish soldiers in Iraq. These are the deaths that decided the election in Spain, just as the death of America’s soldiers will decide the Presidential election in November. The deaths of civilians in Madrid are as tragic and pointless as are the deaths of all the people who have been forced into in an unnecessary war by unscrupulous political leaders, but there has been no “victory” for terrorism.

This fact is inconvenient for the Republican agenda in America, struggling to justify its shortsighted leap into a region where the U.S. had no business going. Instead, the bombings are being used as an opportunity, evidenced to insist on the effectiveness of terrorism and inspire fear. How terribly sick.

One thing is certain. If people continue to attribute Zapatero’s victory to bombs rather than the power of the Spanish people’s desire for peace and a return to reason, then that is surely what we will all reap as the terrorists are empowered by the manipulation of people’s fears.

Dear People of the world social and political reform community,

The essay entitled "Criminal President, Outlaw Nation"
has been posted at

http://projectpeace.blogspot.com/

The essay was inspired by, and includes the URL for today's powerful and informative essay by Joe
Wilson, published in the Salon journal:

"The Pinocchio presidency"
A former diplomat says it's time to blow the whistle on the Bush administration's blatant lies.
By Joe Wilson
http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2004/03/16/wilson_iraq/

"Joseph C. Wilson IV, the former U.S. deputy chief of mission to Iraq during the Gulf War and
ambassador to Niger during the George H.W. Bush administration, blew the whistle on the George W.
Bush administration's lies about Niger uranium sales to Iraq. He is the author of the upcoming
book "The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies that Led to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity
-- A Diplomat's Memoir" to be published by Carroll and Graf on April 30 and serialized by Salon."

While not specific to drug policy reform as such, I feel that the impeachment and prosecution of
G.W.B., and his coterie of liars & criminals, may be critical to achieving fundamental change in
global drug policy, no matter who succeeds Bush to the office of U.S. President.

"Criminal President, Outlaw Nation"

Shameless pollution of truth by the Bush administration has been the defining element of a vicious “presidency” [sic] that revels in debasing human decency, without proportionate accountability. What has been lacking for too long is a concerted push for impeachment, followed by criminal prosecutions, on charges of abuse-of-power in the office of the President of the United States.

Terrorist attacks and other killing rampages are predictable, violent symptoms of radical imbalance. Increasing retaliatory violence is the inevitable response of a world choking on the toxic effluent of information being force-fed to everyone from The White House. Global warming is another, quieter and less explosive, though much more threatening response of the Earth itself, punishing mankind to the point of imminent extinction.

We are all being dragged through spiritual fraud, toward synergistic collapse of environmental, economic, and social systems at an accelerating velocity. Time lags and inertia forestall common awareness and effective response to the conditions being created, built on the falsehoods of the BushCo regime. ‘Time’ has been the limiting factor in the equation of survival for decades, yet incredibly, we continue to waste the few years we have left to achieve sustainable existence, by tolerating obvious lies and exploitation.

To see that such enormous responsibilities continue to rest in the hands of such a criminally disingenuous and blatantly self-interested lot of lying megalomaniacs is incredible to those of us who can recall what it was to be inspired by our love of country. Were we just so foolish to have idealistic hearts full of hope, believing in promises of freedom, justice and honor? The “good people” of the United States are under-reacting in the middle of cumulatively dangerous retaliations for our failure to hold our politicians accountable. The only way to slow, and possibly stop, the inevitable intensification of the “extinctionistic” illness from which the world is coughing up violence, is to impeach George Bush, rather than waiting to vote him out of office. Even with the proximity of the November election, there just isn’t time or lives to waste, by delaying the judgment of a furious world.

Still never met a Pineapple I didn't like...absolutely true about Cannabis "impeding" hard drug use. In the classic film "Hemp Revolution" the Minister [Chief] of Police in Holland calls Cannabis "a wall between the people and hard drugs."

Legalizing all drugs and herbs is the only way to go, daryl, but that's not the same as encouraging use. In fact if less money was being wasted on enforcing counter-productive prohibitions, more resources would be available for credible education, harm-reduction measures to slow the spread of blood-born diseases/infections and provide effective treatment, alternative programs, etc...

Read about what's going on in Europe (below) to see what's happening, in reverse, in the U.S. Without harm-reduction measures in place, it is an absolute certainty that more people will die from AIDS than would otherwise. According to the Drug Policy Allinace in New York, more than 25,000 deaths per year are attributable to the archaic absence of needle exchange programs in the U.S. I don't think that includes all of the non-using people who get infected by having unsafe sex with the increasing number of AIDS infected people.

The issues are all related. You can't talk about health, environment, economics, morality, family values, or world peace, without first addressing the issue of prohibition -- it is THAT fundamental, and THAT destructive.

Read this, John Kerry. Then be truly "Presidential" by speaking the truth, from the start to finish.

"The Economics of Punishment"
Or

"Why are Americans working so hard to send their kids to prison, instead of sending them to college...?"

Answer: Preying upon people who use Cannabis creates a profitable economic dynamic for the U.S. government bureaucracy ("The Economics of Punishment") that is intent on "revenue-raising" and "rent-seeking." Those morally bankrupt people and socially impacted institutions who do the hunting, capturing, emprisoning, moralizing, and judging of people who prefer "the world's safest and most effective herbal therapeutic" are motivated by making money -- plain and simple.

Then there are the countless "spin-off industries" which generate additional profits, from creating a "criminal class" of people, simply by declaring something "illegal" that a lot of people quite logically find unique value in using. Consequently, a many people will use it anyway, which assures a steady "crop" of people who are subject to arrest. This is what has made prison construction and related industries a "great investment." You want to know ho John Kerry is? Check his stock investment portfolio.
Chemical pharmaceuticals? (like Clinton) GMOs? Timber? What does Mr. Kerry invest in? Sustainable industries? Or profitable ones? I'd be interested to know, wouldn't you?

What is TRULY interesting is not WHY prohibition of Cannabis exists -- but rather, "WHY do American taxpayers keep pouring money into prohibition, wasting billions of hard-earned tax dollars, by continuing to elect politicians who advocate such a miserably failed, anti-Constitutional policy? Prohibition currently sucks FIFTY BILLION DOLLARS a year from the American economy! FOR NOTHING!

Not only doesn't prohibition work, it actually exacerbates the problem that it is supposed to be solving. Creating a "forbidden fruit," makes Cannabis and other "drugs" even more attractive to rebellious young people, than they would otherwise be. This is an invariable, well-established pattern that has been quantified by numerous studies of drug use by teens in countries where Cannabis is readily available.
Consistently counter-productive, ridiculously expensive and a proven, corrupting influence on police and government, prohibition is worse than merely a failure. It is a critically determinate, fundamental flaw in our society that has created major imbalances in environment, economics, human values and the social evolution of our species.

Disrespect for Nature and a loss of confidence in the ability of the Natural Order to provide for human needs, has turned mankind toward chemical solutions for many problems that would otherwise be handled using a complete set of "tools" provided by Nature. By creating essential resource scarcity of the most useful plant on Earth, organic agriculture has been neutered to the point that it is disfunctional.

Increased dependence on pesticides and fertilizers, GMOs, industrial farming practices and monoculture are all regressive, unsustainable practices whose short-term benefit is having a "boom-and-bust" effect on issues of food security and the synergistic integrity of the environment. I have written for years that ours in an "extinctionistic" species. Recently Dr. Helen Caldicott has estimated a terminal time-line for mankind of about twenty years, if Bush gets re-elected. I estimate that we have about five years before we reach the point of no return, whether Bush gets re-elected or not. I would love to be wrong, but I honestly don't think I am. Synergistic collapse is a slippery slope, and we're dancing drunkenly on the edge of it.

There are time-lags that preclude mankind's conscious awareness of where we are in the terminal paradigm we are co-creating, globally. The limited understanding we have of the Natural systems we are tinkering with has created the necessity of mass denial and false optimism, which is what the United States is best at.

After living for the past seven years in Europe, I can promise you that the U.S. is hated by countries who used to admire what this country used to stand for. Now we are perceived as cowardly, arrogant, gluttonous and dangerous -- all of which appears to be true.

The fact that George Bush is up for re-election at all, instead of on trial -- for treason, multiple crimes against humanity, abuse of power and reckless disregard for the most basic principles of human decency, upon which civilization depends -- is a measure of the level of disfunction of not only our system of government, but our spiritual integrity as moral people.

Anyone who doesn't believe this should read about the betrayal of our troops in Iraq by the use of depleted uranium bombs.

http://www.swans.com/library/art10/iraq/flounders.html

Just as bad is the continued spraying of glyphosate in Colombia, and the U.S., linked to the spread of Fusarium oxysporum.

http://www.newfarm.org/news/0803/082903/gm_fungus.shtml

Prohibition is always a bad idea - no matter which substance is the focus of the prohibition. (See "The Economics of Prohibition" by Dr. Mark Thornton, University of Utah Press, 1991) Cannabis happens to be a particularly attractive substance for prohibitionists because the Cannabis plant has so many other values that would otherwise be impossible to compete with economically. (See "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by Jack Herer)

Politicians and bureaucrats who wage the "war on drugs" find it profitable and convenient to ignore alcohol and chemical pharmaceuticals. People talk about dangerous "drugs," ignoring science by choosing to villify therapeutic herbs. People talk about Cannabis prohibition while they forget that not all Cannabis is psycho-active'marijuana.' people talk about Janet Jackson's tit as if it matterd, while dropping depleted uranium on our own troops, and spraying poison into the eyes of children. People talk about a lot of things that have nothing to do with anything that's real, and they keep getting elected.

We are a young, arrogant, species whose chances for getting much older don't look so good. Cannabis is the most useful, nutritious, and potentisally abundant organic agricultural resource on the planet and we create scarcity of it when we need it most. That is the one thing that no one in this election has pointed out. Even Dennis Kucinich who is this country's best hope is weaker on this issue than he needs to be to get media coverage. This issue needs to be talked about more than any other issue because it is fundamental to every other issue.

The nature of fundamental imbalance is that, while it really does a lot of harm, environmentally, economically, and socially, it doesn't get talked about so much. Dennis Kucinich's biggest mistake was in being too shy about something that really makes much more sense than he seems to have understood. Essential resource scarcity and the absence of a free market economy including Cannabis, has much more significance, relevance and power than even he, in all his passion and wisdom, chose to recognize or was able to realize.

Future generations deserve the same chance at survival - or better - than we had. Maybe they'll get that chance, maybe they won't. Whatever happens, We The People of the World are responsible, individually and collectively. I hope that Europe, Canada, Jamaica, and other countries will continue to proceed with the renaissance of the Cannabis culture currently underway. The film I am making shows this happening, but right now, I need help to finish it, People can check out "Return to Reason" at

http://www.webspawner.com/users/seedoftruth/

if this makes sense to anyone but me.

In many parts of the world the struggle between good and evil is raging with innocent casualties out-numbering armed combatants. In many parts of the world, the Drug War rages with only counter-productive results. With no benefit to the people paying for it, our lives are being destroyed by our failure to stop the madness that is prohibition.

If the world's best available vegetable protein and the only common seed with three essential fatty acids (EFAs) in proper proportion for long-term consumption (See "Fats That Heal, Fats That Kill" by Udo Erasmus) is truly within the rightful jurisdiction of the court, then my friends, we are a hopelessly extinctionistic species, whose future lies in legislation being bartered to suit the imperialist chemical industrialists whose only concern is to profit from our illness and fears. These are the prohibitionists who continue to use your money to spraying poison into the eyes of children, without remorse. In case you haven't heard another $780 Million dollars has been allocated to "Plan Colombia" in 2005.

Cannabis has never been truly illegal. Cannabis is too valuable an agricultural resource to be within the rightful jurisdiction of any court. The problem is that because of an impacted economic dynamic, currently being steered by the Bush administration, the courts in the U.S. are no longer objective.

See http://formalcomplaint.blogspot.com/

Cannabis is competitive with petroleum to make fuels, and is better for making paper than are trees. It is unique and essential for achieving sustainable existence on this planet, and unless the next President of the United States finds the courage and foresight to say that, openly and plainly, then our children will not have a snowball's chance in Hell of recovering the Natural Order which we continue to take for granted, evidenced by our shameless choice of energy, and a consistent disrespect for Nature.

Our acceptance of measured political statements and continued willingness to pay taxes to a government that throws people in jail for growing their own safe, effective herbal therapeutic (which can also be made into fuels, food, organic insecticides, paper, cloth building materials, paints, rope, plastics...between 25,000 and 50,000 different products) is the shameful measure of our denial of commonly known truth.

Our species will achieve the sad fate we deserve, unless a global consensus to end the drug war is achieved soon. I hope that all people, Democrats, Republicans, Greens and Libertarians will stop this campaign for one day, to recognize that the"Fundamental Challenge of Our Time" is at hand.

It will be interesting to see how this all turns out. I 'pray' that too much time has not already passed, for our efforts to have an effect.

Gordon Lightfoot sang it best, first, in "Too Late For Prayin'" with Jackson Browne hitting the nail on the head with "How Long?" -- listen to them both before you vote -- play them for anyone who still thinks BushCo has the interests of justice, freedom and morality at heart. BushCo is rather obviously and shamelessly, a morally and spiritually bankrupt traitor to our country and a dangerous threat to all life on Earth.

After the election, the American people will surely get the President we deserve. The question is, will future generations of Earth's inhabitants get what they deserve?
